Happy Thursday, my loves! The week is nearly over and there is still so much to do and to visit. I am still in Marrakech while you are reading this (follow me on Instagram @imenaginac to be a part of my adventures✨) and I completely fell in love with this city. At first I was a little bit afraid to behonest, but that fear quickly turned into fascination. Before I dive to much into my current travels, there will be a whole Marrakech week coming (more like a month than a week), I would love to talk more about loving yourself.

The thing is, I guess, nearly every girl has some issues not only with her personality, but especially with her body. We are pushed into boxes from the moment we are born and while growing up, we realise that eventhough we are strong, beautiful, intelligent and inspiring, we do not grant ourselves the same respect and kindness that we grant our friends. Girls/ Women tend to question themselves a lot, rather than trustng themselves and simply embracing who they really are, because we often like to focus on the things that we can’t do. This is actually a really stupid habit, which has to be banned from your mind and soul. I have always been really thin, but also really small, which has never been a problem. On the contrary, everybody wanted my bodyshape eventhough I had other medical issues, which resonated in me being really thin.

♥️You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection♥️

Since the whole being fit and strong trend, people were telling me I was too thin, had no muscles and definitely needed to go to a fitness center. Well here is the thing, my body didn’t change, only the perspective of the others changed, which is totally fine until the point that it touches your soul. These comments, made by strangers or even friends, did hurt at some point, even though I thought they didn’t and this made me realise that it is okay to like yourself even though others don’t. It is even necessary and essential to live a happy life, because you are the person who you are living with your entire life, so that is the relationship you should concentrate on and also work on. Embrace yourself and don’t focus on others because it is YOU who counts.

✨About the look✨

Coming to the heart of this lookpost, the details of this outfit. I choose to wear a simple beige bodycon dress from Boohoo, which I spiced up with a few accessories. there is nothing more important than accessories when it comes to creating and changing a look. Contrasting the plain dress with black details like my heart bag and my favourite minimalistic watch from Mockberg. To give the whole outfit an even edgyer look, I choose to wear my basket hat and add some flats from Seaside which remind me of Marrakech. This look is simple, but also so trendy and that’s why I completely fell in love with it.

I hope you enjoyed my little article about being okay with yourself and I would love to hear your thoughts on this little sidenote of mine. I would love to know what you think of this outfit? How do you like this combination? Let me know in the comments below. xoxo
